Living in LA is sick. I currently reside in Glendale and it is actually faster to take surface streets from my house than it is to take the freeway all the way to Santa Monica.

On a good day, I can get to work in just under an hour. On a bad day, I can be sitting in my car for up to an hour and forty give minutes. Here is a Google map I created highlighting my daily route. It sometimes fluctuates to all surface streets, or hoping on the 10 freeway, but you can get a pretty good idea of my morning routine.
