All day today it seemed as if everything I was saying or writing was being either misinterpreted or completely ignored all together.  Now I think of myself as a pretty solid communicator, someone who can deliver a message or point rather well.  Today for some reason, it just wasn’t working.  Of course, my natural reaction was to blame Monday, most people do after all.  Then one of my friends on Facebook dropped an F-Bomb on Mercury.  Then it dawned on me… Mercury must be in retrograde!

I must say that I’m generally not the type of person that lives and breathes the astrological calendar, but there definitely is something to be learned from the sky above.  During my astronomy class in college, I learned all about planetary cycles including when planets are in retrograde.  Nothing was discussed about the human effect, but it seems that the planets might have some effect on how we act and react to each other.

So was it a bad case of the Mondays, or simply Mercury that is to blame?  The jury is still out, but here is a link to find out more about Mercury in retrograde.  The good news is it’s only supposed to last until the 29th.  HA!
