Macworld No More…
It’s a sad day. Apple has announced that it is severing ties with the Macworld Expo that has become synonymous with hot new Apple products. The first two weeks of the new year were always the most exciting for me. Spending my time on Mac Rumors, trying to speculate what fantastic new product was being released. I would even go so far as to follow live Twitter feeds announcing what Mr. Jobs had just delivered to the world.
I have a long history with Apple and its products. From my first Mac LC, to the latest dual quad-core Mac Pro, the Apple brand has been a part of me. One of the highlights of my life was having our wedding shot by Apple and then subsequently shown by Steve Jobs in the 2005 keynote. For a geek like me, it doesn’t get any better.
While I understand the concept behind moving away from the “Steve Jobs Show”, I will miss the excitement and anticipation of everything that Macworld brings.

Me, my Wife, and Steve Jobs. Does life get any better?
Other Sites and Sounds
Tiffany and I had a wonderful time in New York City taking in the sites, eating great food, and even catching a show. We ended up seeing “In The Heights” which is one of the most amazing musicals I have ever seen. This musical was created by Lin-Manuel Miranda while he was attending Wesleyan University. It has made its transition from a college production to and off-broadway run, then finally a Tony Award-Winning musical. Oh yeah, Lin-Manuel also stars in the musical as the main character Usnavi. You HAVE to see this musical, it is a breath of fresh air!

In line for a matinee. Wet and cold in NYC.

Almost show time!

It’s along way to the top of the Apple!

At FAO Schwartz. having a great time, but missing our kiddies. Big is one my favorite movies, the giant piano never gets old!

Tiff and I can never seem to escape Barbie!

The wait was too long for hot chocolate, but we made our way down to Serendipity to check it out
I am a Creative Director
Well, I’m not just a Creative Director, I’m also an: Art Director, User Interface Specialist, Designer, Programmer, Brand Developer, I really strive to be a jack of all trades.
What is the point of this post? It’s more of a test than anything else. I’ve been using Google Analytics and Google Webmaster Tools to understand what keywords are driving traffic to my site. This post is solely for SEO purposes to see if any of these keywords hit.
I’m finding that the blog has the best page rankings for my site on Google. Take the Color Munki post on October 3rd. According to Google, when Color Munki is searched my site comes up 2nd in page rank. I find this extremely interesting. So right now, I’m just exploring keywords in my blog to gain exposure for my site.
Ultimately, the goal of this website is to further my professional career. I’m expecting Steve Jobs to contact me any day now to inform me I’ve been selected to replace him at Apple. A kid can dream can’t he?
