I’m going back home to Hawaii on Friday for my friend Jenn’s wedding and for a little vacation.  I’m really looking forward to unplugging for a few days.

For those who don’t know me, I’m kind of an aviation buff.  The State of Hawaii is putting together a website on the History of Aviation in Hawaii.  Browsing through I found this picture of my great great uncle Charles F. Chillingworth who also happened to be the Postmaster.  Take a look:

Music is in my blood.  My cousin was renowned Hawaiian slack key guitarist, Sonny Chillingworth.   My love of the islands and music (especially the Beatles) led me to this video of a talented young musician named Jake Shimabukuro.  He absolutely shreds on a ukulele.  Check it out.
