Introducing the Joost Video Network

We’ve been hard at work preparing to launch the Joost Video Network for our parent company Adconion.  After many sleepless nights over the last couple of days, we have finished the heavy lifting and have progressed the brand enough to where the sales team can get out there and do what they do best, SELL!  Here is a sample from the new brand we created…

I always enjoy having the opportunity to work on large branding campaigns, and it was a great honor to lead the charge on a project of this scale.  Internally, the feedback has been amazing and externally the reviews have been great as well.  We still have a ton of work to do, but here are some links for the various releases today.

LinkedIN

It’s really amazing how little I know about what my friends do for a living.  Sure, I know what my best friends do for a living but for the rest…well…what can I say?  I guess we spend so much time in a social setting focusing on the play that we forget the work.

I think LinkedIN has really got a grasp on the future of the social network.  I really think the site exemplifies everything that a web 2.0 site should be.  It’s well thought out and well-executed.  Feel free to add me to your network.

Club840

You may have seen this listed in the portfolio section of my site and wondered what it was. Well, 840 is a house in El Segundo where many-a-good-time was had by all! But friends associated with the house wanted a private venue for keeping in touch with each other, rather than a more public arena like MySpace and FaceBook where personal information is exposed to the masses. I’ve had this theory for some time that social networking sites will become more refined and eventually targeted specifically to special interest groups. This is an example of that. Club840 remains a very popular site for communicating among those who lived, played and worked there.

Enter Club840.  It’s a social networking sites for my friends.  840 is a house in El Segundo where many a good-time has been spent.  We’ve kept it pretty tight with our group of friends, even those who have moved away.
