Twitterific!
I finally gave in. I had been fighting the Twitter bug for quite some time but I eventually gave up and said okay. I’m pacing myself, taking it very slowly, but I did see the benefit of it during the Web 2.0 conference. People were following and chiming in during the various sessions. In fact, some of the speakers were actually taking questions via Twitter.
Now, my wife doesn’t understand the concept of this. ”Why do people need to know where you are?” she asks. Of course my answer is, “I dunno?!”. I really don’t know why we have the need to track where our friends are, perhaps it’s the sense of voyeurism we have from knowing where everyone is and what they’re doing. The bottom line is I’m treading lightly…
