Do you know what is ridiculous? The fact that we are more concerned about being politically correct then we are about being safe. I for one, as an American citizen, have just about had enough of our lackadaisical attitude regarding aviation safety.

I do, it was when Muslim terrorists killed 2,977 of my fellow citizens.  The sad part is that we aren’t any safer that we were on September 10th 2001.

Yesterday, a couple of Yemeni men were detained for what can only be considered to be a dry-run for a terrorist attack.  The FBI is clearly playing this down as just a couple of whack-jobs because they really don’t want people to ask how their bags not only got onto a plane, but flew on a plane they weren’t even on.

What is it going to take to make our government realize that we are only a couple flights away from another repeat of 9/11? I’m not sure, but I’ll tell you that we could make air travel safe by simply adopting similar security policies to El Al, the worlds safest airline.

I say we turn these guys inside out when they get to the airport. I say we search them from head to toe and examine every last article of clothing in their bags. Go ahead an leave the 90 year old grandmother alone and focus on the real problem. You know who I’m talking about.
